Kevin Bach is a Vietnamese-American cook whose work is rooted in the flavors of Saigon and the West Coast. 

He spent multiple seasons cooking at Que by Kaarem, where he developed weekly menus shaped by the city’s markets, seasonal Vietnamese ingredients, and the daily rhythm of cooking in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Raised in San Jose, California and now based in Seattle, Kevin
also cooks at Archipelago, a Filipino fine-dining restaurant that explores Pacific Northwest stories through Filipino heritage. His background in Vietnamese home cooking, his years in Filipino kitchens, and the landscapes of California and Washington all inform the way he thinks about flavor.

Kevin cooks food meant to be shared. His work is guided by instinct and memory, and grounded in a belief that cooking is a way to build community. 

Every dish he makes is an invitation to gather, connect, and enjoy something together.
